We will discuss medications that are commonly used in pain management.

These include medication from tylenol (acetaminophen). NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs), opioids and adjuvant medication.

Of course this list cannot be comprehensive and include every indication, contraindication and side effect.

Acetaminophen (Tylenol), NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs), tramadol, opiates.


Adjuvant Medications:

TCA (tricyclic anti-depressants like nortriptylin (Pamelor(R) and amitriptyline (Elavil(R))

gabapentin (Neurontin(R))

pregabalin (Lyrica(R))

duloxetine (Cymbalta(R))

stools softeners and laxatives
